After getting his start on WLS Radio's National Barn Dance, Rex Allen, Sr. made the move to Hollywood in 1949. Allen appeared in nineteen Hollywood westerns, singing and playing many of his own songs, earning him the nickname of "The Arizona Cowboy." His rich, mellow voice and easy delivery made him a top box-office draw. His many albums over the years are a testament to his lasting popularity and his abundance of fans. On this special DVD, recorded live at Orlando's Church Street Station, Rex performs some of his lasting favorites, including "Tumblin' Tumbleweeds" and "The Sierry Petes."
