Rex Allen, the last of the big screen's singing cowboys, stars as Dr. Bill Baxter in Frontier Doctor. A well-known singer, songwriter and radio star, Allen made his first movie, "The Arizona Cowboy" in 1950. Rex went on to appear in more than 30 Westerns, including "Under Mexicali Stars", "Thunder in God's Country" and "The Old Overland Trail." Allen personified the clean cut, American hero of the wild-west, who wore a white Stetson and loved his faithful horse Koko, billed as "The Wonder Horse."
