In this classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale, Hansel and Gretel, are sent into the Magic Forest by their wicked stepmother to fend for themselves. They leave a trail of breadcrumbs to find their way home, but the animals of the forest eat the breadcrumbs and the two children are lost. They find their way to a gingerbread house that belongs to an evil witch who captures and intends to eat the children. Clever thinking by Hansel and Gretel enables them to escape and find their way back home for a joyful reunion with their father and happy ending.
