Four women: a blonde, a hippie, a lesbian and a barmaid, all have a big problem. What these girls need is money, love and finally, a secret ingredient for Italian ribs... but not necessarily in that order. Grace, the hapless unemployed actress, has a family restaurant left to her by her italian father, the hippie has a joint, the lesbian, well, she has a lot of issues, and the barmaid, she certainly doesn't have an outstanding IQ. What they do have in common is a tyrannical landlord and a dream to make Grace's rib recipe a success. When the restaurant is in danger of closing, the girls will pull out all the stops to save it, from betting on horses to hosting a lingerie auction.
