When you have Great Expectations, anything is possible...

Based loosely on Charles Dickens' "Great Expectations," this is a family story about love, hopes and dreams. Maggie Moalone (Jenna Mattison), is a single, young, aspiring writer living in San Francisco, whose life becomes enchanted much the same as the fairy-tales she writes. Maggie works in Lettie's (Betty White) bookstore, where she finds an old and tarnished lamp. Casually rubbing the lamp she makes a wish, not expecting a thing, but before long Maggie embarks on a magical carpet ride, befriended by a mysterious benefactor in the form of a handsome Oxford lawyer (Sean McGuire). The cynical Maggie finds herself opening her senses to life (and love's) endless possibilities.
